REPORT WE CARE FILM FESTIVAL AT PURPLE FEST, GOA

BROTHERHOOD was invited to organize WE CARE FILM FESTIVAL on disability issues during the PURPLE FESTIVAL: Celebrate diversity FROM 6-8 January 2023 at INOX Auditorium, Goa organized by the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Goa.
the “Purple – We Care Film Festival” was organised for the students of educational institutions and community at large at the Purple Fest 2023 in the presence of Shri Satish Kapoor (Director We Care Film Festival) along with Shri Subhash Phal Dessai (Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare, Govt. of Goa) and Shri Taha Haaziq (Secretary of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Goa).
A total number of 30 award winning films were screened in 12 shows in 3 days. More than 5000 audiences watched the films. Indian National Anthem in Indian Sign language featuring Amitabh Bachchan and children with disability conceptualize by Mr Satish Kapoor, Director, We Care Film Festival and produced by Brotherhood was also screened many times during the Purple Fest.
